São Tomé and Príncipe does not currently maintain an embassy in the United States. An Sao Tome's visa may be obtained at the country Permanent Mission to the United Nation in New York.
In Europe, an Sao Tome and Principe visa may be obtained in Lisbon and Brussels. Honorary consulates of Sao Tome in Budapest, Luxembourg, Madrid, Marsailles, Paris and Porto also issue visas. The mission in Budapest is a consulate-general, covering all countries of Eastern Europe, including Russia.
There is no Sao Tome and Principe diplomatic mission in Oceania, but Sao Tome does have an embassy in Taiwan. For travellers arriving from mainland Africa, there is a Sao Tome and Principe diplomatic mission in Gabon, Angola, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria.
