About e-Visa

The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (eVisa) was launched by Sao Tome and Principe Government in 2012. The system was introduced to help travelers obtain their visas to Sao Tome and Principe in a more convenient and effortless way.

Prospective travelers have a possibility to obtain a tourist or business visa without visiting Saotomean Embassy or Consular Office. Applying for a visa through eVisaST website has lots of advantages. No need to make an appointment or present original documents to the Embassy or Consular Office.

An e-Visa can be obtained easily anywhere with an internet connection and it grants the same right to enter Sao Tome and Principe territory as ordinary sticker-visa in the passport.

All you need is internet connection and scanned copies of your documents.

You must be able to present all the required documents at Sao Tome and Principe state border.

The response has been overwhelming and many travelers have already used this service.
